Provides general information on developmental disabilities, systemic advocacy for people with mental retardation, cerebral palsy, autism, epilepsy, and conditions similar to mental retardation. Also conducts Quality Assessments for clients of the East Bay Regional Center, supports People First organizations and provides public education and information. Assists local councils on developmental disabilities in planning, coordinating, monitoring, advocacy, and evaluating services for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families to enhance independence, productivity and inclusion.
